Lisa, our founder, discovered her passion for historic buildings and interior design early on, envisioning a space where history could be celebrated with elegance. Her dream became a reality when she transformed a century-old grammar school into what is now Historic Venue 1902. Every detail of the venue reflects Lisa’s love for vintage beauty and her dedication to preserving the past while celebrating the future.

Aleshia
Aleshia has been an integral part of the Historic Venue 1902 team since 2017, combining her expertise in events and interior design to help couples create the wedding day of their dreams. She loves getting to know each couple and believes it’s a true privilege to play a part in such a special moment in their lives.
When she’s not helping plan unforgettable weddings, Aleshia enjoys cheering on her favorite football and college sports teams, spending magical days at Disney, and celebrating all things Christmas—her favorite time of year! With her passion for details and her love for life’s most joyful moments, Aleshia brings warmth and enthusiasm to every wedding she helps create.
Taylor
Taylor has always had a passion for organizing and planning, turning her love for details into a career dedicated to creating unforgettable moments. She believes every wedding deserves to be stunning and works tirelessly to ensure every event is as seamless as it is memorable.

If I could put 1,000 stars for this review, I would! From the second I walked in for my first tour of Venue 1902, I knew this was the place I was going to get married. It is absolutely gorgeous on the inside and out. Lisa and Taylor helped me along the way by answering a million questions and making sure everything was set for my wedding day. I'm not used to leaving things in other's hands so I was very anxious the morning of the wedding when it came to putting my vision to life. Taylor, my day-of-coordinator checked in on me multiple times throughout the morning assuring me that everything was running smooth and just as planned. I know that there are usually minor hick-ups at a wedding but I can seriously say mine was perfect. We had zero issues thanks to the amazing staff at Venue 1902. I recommend this Venue to anyone searching to have the best wedding experience possible.
